This XLSX file contains a Workbook_Open macro that executes a VBScript payload. The VBScript, in turn, uses PowerShell to download and execute a second-stage payload from multiple obfuscated URLs. The reconstructed PowerShell command is 'powershell -ExecutionPolicy Bypass -inc hidden -NoProfile -WindowStyle hidden -s PLuiwIt "bou"'. The VBScript also attempts to write a file to 'c:\programdata\bbiwjdf.vbs' and potentially execute it. The ClamAV detection and the nature of the script strongly indicate the Emotet family.

VBA p-code auto-exec with execution tokens high OLE_VBA_PCODE_AUTOEXEC_EXECCompiled VBA/cache stream contains an auto-execution token together with shell/download/object-execution tokens. This catches p-code-only or source-extraction-failure macro documents where visible source is unavailable.
