The sample contains a VBA macro named 'Melissa' that executes upon opening the document. This macro attempts to disable security settings and then uses Outlook to email itself to the first 50 contacts in each address list, using the subject 'Important Message From [UserName]' and body 'Here is that document you asked for ... don't show anyone else ;-)' with the current document as an attachment. This behavior is characteristic of the Melissa virus.
