The sample is a macro-enabled Excel file identified as Emotet by ClamAV. The Workbook_Open macro is triggered upon opening, which uses CreateObject to execute a VBScript. This script, reconstructed from obfuscated strings, appears to download and execute a second-stage payload from the URLs 'http://midnighsilvercrafters.com/store/wBjNOUwc/BI710N4cQA6R3/' and 'http://tempra.com/NAT_E_15_22_2009/BI710N4cQA6R3/', and potentially 'https://redington.karmaat'. The script also creates batch and VBS files in 'c:\programdata\'.

VBA p-code auto-exec with execution tokens high OLE_VBA_PCODE_AUTOEXEC_EXECCompiled VBA/cache stream contains an auto-execution token together with shell/download/object-execution tokens. This catches p-code-only or source-extraction-failure macro documents where visible source is unavailable.
